Dubai trip – Dream Dubai

In my Dubai trip and my Dubai dream before leaving for Dubai I made a few researches on Dubai and came out with certain facts that Dubai is the most populous city in the UAE ( United Arab Emirates ). It is situated in the Persian gulf. Dubai is the capital of the Emirate of Dubai. Dubai is one of the seven emirates that make up the country. Dubai has been a desert place since the beginning but due to oil exploration the country has become rich and just from sand it has turned out to be one of the modern wonders of the world. Burj Khalifa, Bhurj Al Arab, Palm Jumeirah, the world Islands, Sheik Zayed Road and Dubai Marina are few of the most glorious places in Dubai.

In Dubai the more wackier is the idea the more likely it is to be accepted. Dubai is a place which can be said to have been changed over night. Dubai has absolute monarchy and the rules there can change just overnight. The current crown prince of Dubai is Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Dubai has a municipality. The latest exciting news of Dubai   is that Dubai is going to host World expo 2020. Dubai has emerged as a global city and a business hub.

My travel started from Nagpur, India by boarding a flight at the mid of the night, the Air Arabia. The Air Arabia is a low cost airline which offers various eateries and shopping items during the course of the flight. I was excited since this was my first International trip. I happened to buy a sovenier by the flight attendant. The air hostess was a very pretty girl and very friendly indeed. I happen to end up in a long conversation with  her and she shared her experience of Dubai and did give me some vital tips for touring Dubai. This young attendant was an Irish girl and had a very pretty smiling blue eyes. She told me that she was working so that she can collect money for her further studies in a business school. Since higher education in Ireland was quite expensive. We ended up exchanging our facebook contact Ids. So my three and a half hour flight trip ended up to be very pleasant.

Early in the morning we reached the Sharjha airport. As soon as I got down of the flight there was a chill in the air and I was surprised to find the place to be cold. There was a thrill and excitement in the air since this was my first international tour. As we got down and went to the airport I was able to see a number of people of all different nationalities. This made me realize how global Dubai is. And hence my Dubai dream was on its way. One very peculiar feature at the airport was that the announcer at the airport  was announcing in English language with a complete Arabic ascent and it sounded very sweet.

From the airport I took a van to the hotel where we were putting up. On the way I saw beautiful roads, lovely sports cars, and lot of flowers on the road side which really surprised me again. But the drive from the airport to the hotel where I was putting up made me understand the luxurious life of Dubai.

The Jumeirah beach is a lovely beach to be in, the water there is nice and blue with white sand all around. The presence of Burj Al Arab which is one of the costliest Hotel of all times makes the beach a very special place. I remember going for a late night party and having a good time with good music, food and excellent gentry. There was fun in the air and the dream Dubai seemed to flow.

One very good experience which is a must watch is to see the blue lights of burj Khalifa getting turned on in the evening . These lights are an indicator for the air planes about its presence. One need’s to be lucky to view this. One realizes how huge and tall the structure is. The Burj Khalifa is really one of the greatest wonders of the modern era. The Burj Khalifa being one of the tallest building of the world is a magnificent piece of human built structure and engineering.

Any one can go to the floors of the Burj Khalifa but one needs to pay and the higher you go the more one has to pay any way I decided to go upto the 100th floor so that I complete a century. On the ground floor in the hall one can find the buildings prototype which is also magnificiently made. Once in Dubai make sure you don’t miss this experience.
